Farm to Table

RN: Kate was happy to show us around the Ann Arbor Farmer’s Market today. It’s embarrassing we don’t go in Falmouth, but this was quite a treat to see the beautiful vegetables and other food wares folks were selling. I was determined to cook dinner for everyone, something I haven’t done at all on our trip (well, cooked for Felix and me, but it’s different to cook for 4 or more folks). So we got our veggies and our very fresh fish here.

In the afternoon, Felix and I took a walk around the giant block near Kate’s house that holds the football stadium, the basketball arena, and the student athlete center. On the photo below, you can only see the sky boxes of the football stadium on the left and the arena to the left. Holy cow! Sky boxes??

Another photo of Kate with her son Ethan and his wife Lei. This time, Ethan’s eyes are open…

And here we are with Kate!! She is such a dear friend!

And, stupidly, we forgot to take a photo of the dinner I cooked, but you get the idea here…I made Brazilian cheese bread (it’s GF!) and Moqueca, a Brazilian fish stew… this may look familiar to a few of you… can’t wait to get back to my own kitchen!!!
