RN: Right after we arrived in Ann Arbor MI, this furry fellow popped up and posed for us…”hmmm…looks sunny and safe…I declare 6 more weeks of summer!”

We are now at Kate’s house a couple of blocks from Michigan Stadium on the edge of the University of Michigan campus. Kate is a very long-time, very good friend who was a postdoc in Darwin’s lab when I was a grad student. We have stayed in touch frequently over the past nearly (gasp) 50 years. We were really happy to see each other!!
